Cheltenham Exhibition 22-28 June 08

Since the age of 14 Angie Shepherd has exhibited at the Cheltenham open air Art Exhibition, held in Imperial Gardens at the centre of the Regency Spa Town. The Exhibition is held over a 4 weeks period, with different Artists displaying each week. In 2007 Angie was exhibiting in week 4, when the floods hit Gloucestershire. Angie, along with the rest of the Artists, hope that in 2008 the weather would be more kind!

Unfortunately, despite opting for the first week of the Exhibition rather than week 4, Artists and visitors alike were frequently running for cover from heavy rain, as well as tying down paintings to ensure that they didn't blow away.

However, Angie, despite the weather, was pleased to sell a number of paintings and take 5 commissions. In addition, she met another exhibitor, Rachel Anderson, currently studying at University in Reading. Rachel's work is bold and contemporary but she also has a sensitive touch and expertly executes skin tones and atmosphere.'Visit Rachel's site'
